Jesse & Lindsay's Ceremony

Recently I had the opportunity as an architect to design a new West Village restaurant with Jesse Schenker, restauranteur and owner/head chef of Recette. Through my time in helping them launch the restaurant, I've gotten to know their family well and they are truly a loving bunch. Lindsay runs the day-to-day operations at Recette - you'll probably speak to her when you call in for a reservation! Jesse & Lindsay tied the knot one sweet Spring Friday before a few family members, and I was fortunate to be there to catch some special moments!

Memorial Day Weekend

I got to spend the long weekend with some good friends and a birthday crawfish boil that was totally over the top. Thanks to Talida (www.talidabakes.com), who's been familiar with preparing crawfish boils in the past, we tackled 60 pounds of mudbugs in an entire day of feasting. The festivities extended long after I left the party, but here are a few good ones to describe the day.
