Jem + Mike's Wedding

 I shot this lovely summer wedding as a second photographer for my friend Edmond. Mike is an enlisted US Marine and an awesome dancer, and Jem's his perfect energetic match. We ended the day off with a shoot at the south shore of Long Island amongst a rock-hewn beach. The sun was setting gracefully, giving us some great light to work with. Edmond ran out into the rocky waves thigh-deep with two Nikon D700 bodies and pro lenses, and nearly slipped and dropped everything in the water. We ended up tending to his wounds afterwards, but not without great respect for the man who threw everything out there to get the shot he wanted.
